We went to check out this place, because we wanted to go to the speakeasy in back. Upon first entry, a man greeted us and asked us about our visit and then pointed out the amenities and told us how to get to the speakeasy. At first, it was a little awkward being greeted that suddenly, but it was kind of cool too. We went straight to the back and didn’t really investigate the front bar or the patio area because it was 300° outside. We went to the speakeasy where it was pretty crowded but plenty of seating available. The bartender got to us within a relatively quick amount of time given that he was the only bartender. He mixed a good Old-fashioned as well. The only thing that I would say is I wish the lights were a little more dim in the speakeasy. And there was a little more music playing. It didn’t quite fit the speakeasy vibe that we thought we were going to get. With that said, I had a good experience overall, and I would definitely recommend stopping there and checking it out. Sorry I didn’t do more pictures…
The back bar is a fun little adventure to find. Drinks are alright, and the vibe was more my style - pretty low key and casual. Didn't try the food
One of my favorite bars in Austin. This place serves up hipster vibes with a great patio out in the backyard. Come here on a Thursday if you like to shoot some pool. Free pool Thursdays? Can’t beat it. They also have a golden tee like game along with a Photo Booth if you’re looking to get silly. Prices are fairly decent as well.
I went here this past weekend, and it was my first time ever going to this place. I had saw it on a Instagram real where it showed that there was a hidden speakeasy “The Treasury” within this bar, so I messaged some friends asking them if they wanted to check it out. I was super impressed with the overall layout and how cool calm and collected this little hole in the wall was. I was really impressed with their cocktail drinks that they were serving and just the overall vibe of the place. It was super cute and such a clever idea to have this little hidden gem within the bar/restaurant. Look for the greenlight!
This place has Big Deck Energy.
They also have a good Happy Hour that runs until 6:30, and Golden Castle food truck parked out back.
If you’re going for a cocktail, I recommend the Mezcal Molly.
Nice patio with Teamed Hams aka sliders. Delicious mixed drinks and music. Didn’t go here during peak hours so tough to get the feel of a busy place but seems like it could be fun on a weekend out late.
Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. Great bartender. The food truck literally was just opening up (around 330-4pm) and had beef or chicken sliders, hot dogs, chicken nuggets--looks like descent bar food in others' pics. Drinks were surprisingly cheap and unsurprisingly great as I had this place recommended to me for such. Good A/C inside and a cute photo booth and pool table were around--lots of room outside with some shady nooks for hot days. I would make this place a regular haunt if I wasn't always trying new places, but even so, I'll go out of my way to return every month to at least kill 30 min. with a drink. 5 stars.
Fantastic atmosphere! However their specials cocktails are not good. Server Night B. At Patio bar straight up did not make the girls Green Tea shots, and poured the AUSTIN Tea mix and served it. Everything was heavy on sour mix. Very disappointed.
